Custom Upcycling Service – T-Shirts Only (Limited Availability, UK Only)

This service is for customers who would like to send up to 3 t-shirts to touched out mama for custom upcycling. Each t-shirt will be fitted with two vertical, double-ended side zips to allow for discreet breastfeeding and pumping access.

Please read all the information below carefully, including the disclaimer, before placing your order.

IMPORTANT – Pre-Approval Required

Before ordering, please email touched out mama to have your t-shirts checked and approved: contact@touchedoutmama.co.uk
Orders placed without prior approval will be cancelled and refunded.

In your email, please include:

• A brief description of the t-shirts
• Fabric composition (e.g. 100% cotton, polyester blend, etc.)
• Photos (optional but helpful)

Pricing & Order Details

• Maximum T-Shirts per Order: 3
• Upcycling Cost: £10 per t-shirt
• Return Postage: Free (Royal Mail Tracked48 – Small Parcel)

Postage Instructions (UK Only)

Once your t-shirts have been approved and you've placed your order, please send them to:

• Use Royal Mail Tracked48 only
• Retain proof of postage
• Email the tracking number and order number to touched out mama
• Include your return address in the email
• Upcycled t-shirts will be returned free of charge via Royal Mail Tracked48
• All garments will be washed and ironed before return

Turnaround Time

Please allow up to 5 business days from the time we receive your t-shirts and confirm your zip colour for completion. Turnaround times may vary depending on daily workload.

T-Shirt Requirements

Zips work best with basic cotton or polyester t-shirts.
T-shirts must not have:

• Pockets or Embellishments near the side seams
• Graphics that interfere with zip placement

T-shirts deemed unsuitable will be returned unaltered.

Zip Colour & Length

• All zips will be 35cm (#3 size) by default (Please note these are NOT invisible zips)
• If needed, an alternative length may be used to suit the design
• Zip colour and final details will be discussed after we receive your items
• We may not be able to colour-match the zips to your t-shirt, so often a similar or contrast colour is required
• Prompt replies will help avoid delays in processing

Disclaimer

By sending your garments to touched out mama, you accept the following:

• Zips are inserted by cutting two permanent vertical openings
• Alterations are done to the best of our ability
• As this is a custom service, refunds are not available unless your t-shirt is lost or damaged during the upcycling process
• Refunds (if applicable) cover service and postage only, not the original garment

touched out mama is not liable for any loss or damage during postal transit. Please address postage concerns directly with Royal Mail.
