Cross-Over Top Sleeveless

I’ll be the first to shamefully admit that I like fast fashion, but I know not only is it bad for the environment, but also the quality of the clothing is generally really poor. I had 3 such items in my wardrobe that I knew, with a few design tweaks and the right fabric choice, would make great maternity, breastfeeding, and simply stylish tops. So, I had the pattern made and sourced a high-quality cotton blend fabric, that I knew would not only wear well but also be breathable, soft and snuggly for mamas and their babies. All 3 have a cross-over design that makes accessing the boobas easy for feeding, whilst still providing some cover to your top half (just pop a feeding vest underneath). I've tried and tested them in a café, on the beach (very windy day I might add), in a forest den and on a plane, and they passed with flying colours. Speaking of which, I have made them in a range of colours to brighten up any day after a sleepless night of parenting (sleep deprivation is real). And just because zebra is my fav print, I have made one in that too! The “square back” style is longer at the front and back, with a more relaxed sleeve, compared to the “diamond back.” But I’d say the latter has more of a trendy vibe. The sleeveless top… well that’s super versatile and can be dressed up or down depending on what mama is up to that day… even if it involves crawling through a terrifying small space at a soft play.

• Plain: 50% Cotton and 50% Acrylic.
• Zebra: 92% Polyester 8% Spandex
• Wash with similar colours
• Iron on low
• Do not bleach or tumble dry to preserve the integrity of the fabric
